You can also subscribe to our Youtube channel (RNNGrouplibraries) so you never miss a tutorial.

In-class Academic Study Skills

Members of the Library Service often deliver sessions which will develop student skills in the following areas:

  • Research
  • Advanced research
  • E-Resources
  • Note-taking
  • Academic Writing
  • Referencing (Harvard and APA)
  • Planning a Project

These are booked by academic tutors for the whole class when necessary, so you will not need to worry about organising these.

1-2-1 Sessions for Degree-level and Access Students

If you require further support in the areas of research, academic writing and referencing, there will be an opportunity to book a 1-2-1 session with a librarian to support you in these areas. These will be available from January through to the end of the academic year. Bookings for these sessions will be made through ‘LibCal’, our online booking system. The link to this will be made available on our Moodle page once bookings are open. You choose a time and register by completing the online form.
