Covid Update Tier 3

COVID-19 UPDATE – TIER 3

As you will be aware, South Yorkshire has been placed in Tier 3 taking effect from 2 December 2020.

Rotherham College is in regular contact with its students to support them through this transition, and the college remains open (delivering a blended learning model via face-to-face and online teaching) with business as usual.

Government guidelines mean that Further Education should continue.

We have COVID-secure campuses, and remain COVID-secure. This means that we comply with all government guidance on managing the risks of COVID-19. This includes hand sanitiser stations on arrival, social distancing measures, clearly-signed one-way systems and use of face coverings (unless exempt).

We will continue to closely monitor the government guidelines. Should any changes need to be made, we will keep you as informed as possible through our website and social media channels.

COVID-19 UPDATE – TIER 3

As we adhere to restrictions under government guidance, below are the guidelines we are following for your safety:

Adhere to social distancing

Keep at least 2 metres apart or 1 metre when wearing a face covering.

Wear a face covering

We are advising everyone within our buildings to wear a face covering unless they are exempt.

Wash your hands regularly

Washing your hands on a regular basis is one of the easiest ways to protect yourself and others by properly removing dirt, viruses and bacteria to stop them spreading to other people and objects.

Only attend College if you have classes

Please only attend College if you have scheduled classes, not just to meet friends.

Please don’t attend College if you have symptoms

If you have any of the symptoms that identify as COVID-19, please do not attend College.
