Copper pipe in the shape of a reindeer

Rotherham College Plumbing students get creative in festive fundraiser

8 December 2017

Rotherham College Plumbing students have been putting using their talents for a good cause by creating festive decorations for charity.

The students have been using copper piping to create bespoke reindeer heads and Christmas tree ornaments in order to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and Bluebell Wood Children’s’ Hospice, the students’ chosen charities.

The decorations are made to order and cost £20 for a reindeer head and £3 for a Christmas tree. To place an order, please contact smorrisey@dearne-coll.ac.uk.

The students will be working on the project throughout December and will be donating the funds raised to their chosen charities in January.
