Save yourself a pretty penny at RNN Group’s hair and beauty salons
If you’ve never been to a college hair and beauty salon before, you’re missing out.
Where else in this day and age could you get a lash lift, full set of nail extensions, or a cut and blow for a tenner?
Treatment prices might be a fraction of the cost of professional high street salons or clinics, but saving yourself a pretty penny isn’t the only benefit.
College salons are, in essence, classrooms for training the next generation of stylists and therapists. By welcoming paying customers, it gives students the opportunity to put their theory work into practice.
Here at RNN Group, we have three student-run salons that offer all your favourite treatments at feel good prices.
The College salons operate just as any other salon would, giving students excellent work experience opportunities around their studies. Our hair and beauty training courses have a big focus on customer service skills, as well as the technical skills needed, to get our students ready for the world of work.
All three of our salons are equipped to a high standard and our students use products from well-known brands such as Dermalogica, Fudge and Wella.
Our hair and beauty students bring some of the freshest, most creative ideas and are training in the latest techniques. You could get your hair cut by the next Vidal Sassoon or Andrew Barton – they all had to start somewhere.
However, rest assured that our students are well supported by experienced tutors who check their work at every step. They won’t do a Frenchy and leave you with bubblegum pink hair – unless you ask for that, of course!
If you’re open to trying a new look, check out each salon’s Facebook page as they regularly post when looking for models for specific styles or techniques.
The salons are open to RNN students and the general public throughout term time. Prices will vary across the salons and will also be dependent on the level a student is working at (e.g., level 2 or 3).
So, where can you pamper yourself for less?
