Rotherham College - Wearing pink for 'Stand up to Bullying Day'

Rotherham College Goes Pink for ‘Stand Up to Bullying Day!’

23 February 2024

Today, the 23rd of February, staff and students at Rotherham College are decked out in pink to support those who have been and are affected by bullying, for International Stand Up to Bullying Day.

Observed every February, Stand Up to Bullying Day is an opportunity to raise awareness and to support those in need.

Bullying, in all its forms, can have a deep impact on individuals, affecting their mental health, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Recognising the importance of encouraging a culture of kindness and empathy, Rotherham College has come together to amplify the message that bullying will not be tolerated.

So, whether you’re rocking a hot pink hat or just a subtle pink pair of socks, know that you’re part of something bigger today. Together, let’s continue to spread kindness, empathy, and respect, not just today, but every day. Because in a world where we lift each other up, there’s no room for bullying to thrive.
