Rotherham College showcasing at the LEAF 2019 event

Rotherham College Showcases at Annual LEAF Event

26 November 2019

Rotherham College attended the annual Local Employment and Advisory Forum (LEAF) event at Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham this month to provide local schools, college leavers and jobseekers with information, advice and guidance on the courses and apprenticeships available to provide them with the skills for success.

The event, now in its 6th year, attracts a large audience of local students and go-getters seeking advice and information to develop their skillsets and employability.

A wide range of curriculum areas from the college were represented at the event with staff bringing interactive activities to share with prospective students and demonstrate the hands-on learning that they would undertake during their studies at Rotherham College.

Rotherham College Recruitment and Events Officer Rebecca Hepworth helped provide visitors with valuable information on the opportunities studying at Rotherham College creates.

Rebecca said: “The LEAF event is a brilliant opportunity for Rotherham College to showcase how it supports the aspirations of local people by providing quality education in easy reach.

“It shows the local community just how much we have to offer.”
