This qualification is for candidates wishing to gain understanding and practical experience in the Plumbing Trade.
The course is designed to be two evening classes per week of up to 3 hours eachLearners will understand and carry out safe working practices in Building Services Engineering, communicate with others and apply environmental protection measures within BSE and understand fundamental scientific principles within Building Services Engineering.
• Carry out copper pipe fabrication work for domestic plumbing systems• Carry out low carbon steel pipe fabrication work for domestic plumbing systems• Carry out plastic pipe fabrication work for domestic plumbing systems• Key features of domestic plumbing systems
Demonstrate techniques for installing and securing plumbing pipework.
Excellent facailities with industry-experienced, qualified tutors who have spent many years in construction and have specialist qualifications and knowledge to bring to their teaching.
A basic understanding of the plumbing trade although this is not essential to complete the programme.
