Art and Fashion Students Launch Sustainable Pop-Up Shops

Our talented Art, Design and Fashion students are taking their creativity on the road this December with a special pop-up shop at Merchants House in Sheffield on 6th December, and everyone’s invited!
This exciting pop-up is a chance for students to showcase their work to a wider audience, gain real experience in presenting their designs and learn what it’s like to run their own retail space. From handmade fashion pieces to creative artwork, there’ll be plenty of unique items to check out.
This event is part of a series of student-led pop-ups happening throughout the month. Things kick off on 3rd December with a practice shop in the Eastwood Building on campus, giving students the chance to test their ideas. Then, after the big Sheffield showcase, students will round things off with their own market stall on 10th December, also on campus.
All money raised from the pop-up shops will be donated to Cancer Research UK, so every purchase supports both our creative students and a great cause.
These pop-up events give students hands-on experience in sustainable fashion, promotion, customer interaction and the skills they’ll need for freelance work or future careers in the creative industries.
