Rotherham College Celebrates Careers Week 2025
From the 3rd – 7th March 2025 Rotherham College celebrated National Careers Week, a week-long celebration that offers students invaluable opportunities to explore career pathways, gain industry insights, and connect with professionals who can shape their future.
From engaging employer talks to hands-on workshops, Careers Week was packed with activities designed to inspire and inform.
Students had the chance to attend guest speaker sessions featuring industry professionals, including renowned song-writer, producer, and recording artist Eliot Kennedy, property developers Henry Boot, and Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) who shared their career journeys and expert advice, among many others.

Learners also participated in interactive workshops covering CV writing, interview techniques, and job application tips. This week gave students the chance to network with local employers, apprenticeship providers, and universities to discover potential pathways after college and receive expert guidance from our Careers Team to help shape their next steps.
Careers Week proved to be an invaluable experience for students, equipping them with real-world insights and practical skills to help them plan their futures. Whether considering university, an apprenticeship, or entering the workforce, attendees left feeling more confident and informed about their next steps.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s Careers Week, where we’ll continue to provide students with exciting opportunities to explore their future career options.
