The Essential Digital Skills course is designed for adults who want to improve their digital confidence, develop practical technology skills for everyday life, and gain a nationally recognised qualification.
The course supports learners to build the digital skills needed to access services, communicate effectively, manage information, and participate confidently in work, education, and daily life.
Learners will work towards an Essential Digital Skills Qualification (EDSQ) at either Entry Level 3 or Level 1, depending on their starting point and individual learning goals.
To gain a recognised qualification while studying the following topics:
- Using Devices and Handling Information.
- Creating and Editing Digital Content.
- Communicating Online.
- Transacting Online.
- Staying Safe and Responsible Online.
