Access to Higher Education (HE) courses will help develop your skills and ability to progress on to a HE course, even if you left school without a vocational qualification or A-Levels.

If you progress to Higher Education after taking out a loan for an Access to HE diploma course, your Advanced Learner Loan balance will be written off, on completion of your HE course.

“The tutors, the course and the College as a whole have supported me and given me the skills and education I needed to get in to the uni I really wanted. I’d recommend Rotherham College and the Access course to anyone.”

Kyle Morton – Access to Humanities

“I thought I would have to go back to school to get back into education but it was only a one year Access course that I needed to do. I’d definitely recommend coming back to college. Everyone on the course helped and supported each other. The Access course is a stepping stone to do anything.”

Jennie Glover – Access to Humanities

“The tutors are very helpful. They guide you through the UCAS process in order to apply to university and give you a great reference. If you don’t want to go to university there is lots of support with applying for jobs or other prospects.”
