Rotherham College Introduces Online Mental Health Support

2 April 2020

Rotherham College is now offering free support for mental health via the online mental health support service Togetherall.

Togetherall is an online platform created to help people get support, take control and feel better about a variety of concerns or issues they may have – ranging from stress, sleep deprivation, anxiety or depression.

The support service includes an anonymous global community, allowing a platform for users to express themselves creatively. Users can also access a library of self-care resources including clinical tests, tips and guided group courses. Trained professionals are online 24/7 to keep all members safe and provide extra support.

The website has a community feature, where you can see posts from other users, filter by category (e.g. anxiety) and create your own posts for others to join in friendly and helpful discussion. There is also a resources feature which includes interactive self-help tools such as online journals and clinically-established articles that highlight appropriate knowledge for anything you’d like to explore. The third feature, courses, includes a variety of self-help courses where you unlock sections as you progress – ensuring all relevant and helpful knowledge is shared with you.

If you think this could be useful for you, we have created a dedicated Big White Wall web page on our website, providing more information about how to create a profile and navigate the support service. You can find that by clicking on the following link www.rotherham.ac.uk/togetherall/
