Rotherham College to Host Community Open Day

06 April 2017

On Saturday 13th May 2017 Rotherham College is opening the doors between 10.00am and 2.00pm to the local community for our free annual day of fun at our Dinnington Campus Community Open Day.

There is something for everyone with a wide range of activities and entertainment taking place and a great opportunity for the public to explore the facilities and discover college life.

Just a few of the activities taking place include the meerkat experience, a horse show, exotic animal handling, tours of Mining Meadows Farm, plant sales, competitions and much more.

You will also be able to gain insight into the courses on offer at the College, talk to industry experienced staff and tour our state-of-the-art facilities at our Dinnington Campus.

You can take a tour of the on-site Bright Skies Nursery to view their Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ learning environment, take part in activities and speak to the staff.

There will be everything from handling the meerkats to craft sales and the chance to refresh yourself with tea/coffee and handmade cakes available to buy.

The on-site Mining Meadows Farm is perfect for all the family to explore, where you’ll have the opportunity to make the most of their working animal collection and meet reptiles, ponies, rabbits and much more.
