This can be identified by your routine, waking up with an alarm, boiling a kettle, travelling, (railway equipment, traffic lights, airport equipment) tv, cleaning equipment, hospital equipment, power tools. All these components require science.

Within Electrical, we offer different levels of study.Structure of Construction Industry, Fundamental Safe Working Practices, Environmental and Sustainability Measures in Domestic Dwellings, Site Preparation for Working in the Construction Industry, Electrical Installation Wiring and Terminations, Fabrication Techniques for Electrical Installation, Electrical Science and Technology.
Once familiar with the basics, we move to Health and Safety and Industry Practices, Electrical Science, Electrical Installation, Electrical Technology.
This will them lead onto Planning and Overseeing Electrical Work Activities, Principles of Electrical Science, Electrical Design and Installation Practices and Procedures, Principles of Inspection, Testing and Commissioning Electrical Systems, Inspecting, Testing and Commissioning Electrical Systems, Electrical System Fault diagnosis and Rectification. Requirements for Electrical Installation.
All these units require assessments of various forms, written, practical & scenario/case studies.
All courses will include varying levels of sector specific Maths & English.
Rotherham College offers industry recognised qualifications in 2 spacious Electrical workshops designed for unique levels. All our courses are delivered by experienced industry trained specialists who are continually assessed to current standards, who can offer careers advice and have links to the industry.
Our Curriculum is designed with input from local employers to ensure we are providing the essential skills needed by the local community and the surrounding area.
