Beauty Therapy is a substantial vocational qualification for learners seeking a career as a Beauty Therapist.Throughout these qualifications, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy, physiology, health and safety, communication, problem solving and research skills. In addition to managing clients and how to provide a range of beauty treatments in a realistic working environment, which has all the latest treatments, products, techniques and up to date salons.
Level 1 Extended Certificate in Hair and Beauty Skills, Level 2 Extended Certificate in Beauty Skills basic nail art, eyebrow shaping, basic skincare, basic manicure and basic pedicure.
From L2 to L4 students will undertake practical assessment on real paying clients in a realistic working environment covering a variety of age, gender and skin tones and problems, assignments and online exams.
Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies – Manicure, pedicures, waxing, facial, eye treatments and lash lift.Level 2 Award in Eyelash and Eyebrow Treatments – To maintain the original eyebrow shape or to change the shape of the eyebrow if desired. The different colour characteristics and the chemical process of tinting.
Level 2 Award in Skin Tanning Techniques – practical skills to provide self-tanning services to areas of the body using cream and spray tan techniques.Level 2 Award in Threading Depilation – Eye how to provide threading with 3 techniques.
Level 3 Diploma in Beauty therapy treatments – individual permanent lashes, self-tanning, Indian head massage, micro dermabrasion.Level 4 Diploma in Permanent Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation – treatments epilation and advanced epilation IPL applications in order to make informed decisions for the purpose of hair removal and skin rejuvenation, management of health and safety and security in the salon, physiology of ageing and quality management of client care.Level 4 Certificate and Award in Enhancing Eyebrows with Microblading Techniques – case studies, assignment, online exams, permanent cosmetic process where the pigment is deposited into the upper dermal layer of the skin allowing the therapist to enhance the eyebrows making them appear thicker and fuller giving the effect of natural growing brows.
Level 4 Certificate and Award in Skin Needling – Principles and practice of non-medical aesthetic therapies, advanced consultation and skin care for non-medical aesthetic advanced and provide cosmetic skin needling treatments with 3 systems. The course will have an end-point assessments and external exams.Level 4 Certificate and Award in Skin Peeling – using skin peel products and techniques to rejuvenate the condition of the skin. The course will have an end-point assessments and external exams.
Level 4 Award in Dermaplaning – Manual exfoliation techniques, removes surface debris, peach fuzz with custom dermaplaning blades.
