Music students to perform at Pop Music Showcase

A performance showcasing the talent of our music students will soon be held at the College’s Town Centre Campus to mark the end of year celebrations.

The event, Pop Music Showcase, will take place at 6.30pm on Thursday 17th June in the College’s Eastwood Studio Theatre and will include a number of performances from students currently on the BTEC First and National Diplomas in Music. The show will kick off with a range of original material from the BTEC First Diploma students. This will be followed by One Hit Wonders performed by first year BTEC National Diploma students and the evening will end with a musical history of rock and roll and Motown by second year students from the BTEC National Diploma. This will be the last in a series of sell-out shows for the students this year. Previous performances include the Open Arts Festival at the Spiegel Tent and the Christmas performance of Never Mind the Baubles. Tickets cost £2.50 and are available from the college’s Eastwood Faculty Office. For further information, please contact Steve Gascoigne on 01709 362111.
