Nursery takes part in National Share a Story Day
Children at the Rother Valley Campus Nursery were able to widen their imaginations as they listened to a number of exciting stories on National Share a Story Day.
Story telling activities are a great way to encourage children to become interested in a variety of books and the benefits that can come from reading on a regular basis. The children were able to enjoy story time in the College’s Learning Centre as they were read to by the library staff. Nursery Manager Sally Huffen explained, “The children love books and taking them into a new environment where they were read to by someone new kept them interested and entertained. It was also a positive way to encourage the children to visit a local library with their family.”
