Business-Improvement Techniques (B-IT) NVQ Level 2

Who is the programme for?

The programme enables those working in a business to undertake improvements aimed at reducing cost, minimising waste and improving productivity. B-IT is equally applicable across various company sizes and sectors. Any organisation can benefit from this programme.

B-IT at Level 2 is directly applicable to individuals who:

  • Require a core knowledge of business improvement techniques
  • Wish to gain experience of applying these techniques within a team
  • Would like to gain a recognised qualification to demonstrate their competence

Duration

NVQs are awarded based on evidence collected within the workplace. The collection of evidence required for the B-IT Level 2 can be achieved at a pace to suit the employee and predicted end dates can be agreed with the assessor.

Coaching and Assessment

Each candidate is partnered with a certificate expert who coaches the candidate in the application of the programme and assesses the evidence generated against the agreed national standard.

The Programme

The NVQ Level 2 consists of six units; five mandatory plus one optional. Delivery is flexible and can be tailored to individual company requirements in order to fit in with work patterns.
