Making a difference
click to enlarge  Health and Social Care students have been a busy bunch this year with a long list of activities within the community that have helped to develop their knowledge and experience throughout their course.
This included two litter picking events and a sponsored walk along MamTor in Castleton from which they raised over £235 for local charity Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
The activities enabled the group to learn about the importance of a fit and healthy lifestyle and how to care for the environment. Each student gained a great deal of satisfaction and pride for the difference they were able to make within their community.
