Hospitality students hold Fair Trade Dinner in Wharncliffe Restaurant

In collaboration with Rotherham Fair Trade Group, Hospitality students hosted a black tie dinner in the Wharncliffe restaurant for the 2nd year running.

Nursery takes part in World Book Day

Children from the Rother Valley Campus College Nursery were recently encouraged to become involved in the annual celebration of World Book Day.


Hospitality students compete in UK Barista Championship heats

Towards the end of February, Level 3 Hospitality students Shaun Green and Jason Childs competed in the Northern and Midlands heat of the UK Barista Championships which were held at the Millennium Galleries in Sheffield.

Andy Kershaw - BBC news reporter and a former College student

BBC Radio Sheffield Broadcast Journalist Andy Kershaw recently spoke highly of his experience with the College where he was able to further his education after leaving school with a few basic qualifications.

Drama student performing at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre

Nicola Taggart will be taking to the stage at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre this month in Henrik Ibsen’s ‘An Enemy of the People’.

Student Success

Emma Mann

Emma Mann found the Diploma in the Theory and Practice of Counselling to be extremely beneficial, allowing her to progress into her chosen career as a Counsellor. Since completing the course, Emma has begun part-time employment as a Counsellor at both Dearne Valley College and Dinnington Comprehensive School where she is able to draw from her recently acquired knowledge and skills.
