Rotherham College of Arts & Technology has transformed the learning experience of its students. The College has one vision, to create learning spaces that are inclusive, flexible and high quality. We know that learning is no longer one dimensional, people now learn in a variety of ways. In order to meet these changing needs, the College created learning environments, which allow you to reach your full potential in a way that suits you.

To achieve this, the College has six learning centres. These house a diverse range of new digital resources, whilst still retaining more traditional materials. Each centre has been tailored to particular subject areas, bringing learning closer to you.

These modern and diverse study environments include social learning spaces and wireless connectivity which increase social interaction and encourage learning in a more informal environment. At the same time, should you prefer, you can also have access to more formal areas of study, where noise and distraction are minimal. This mix of formal and informal spaces and subject specialism bring learning closer to you and new learning resources provide you with a supportive yet flexible environment that allows you to study in a way that suits your needs.

The Learning Centres are open throughout the day, with targeted evening and vacation opening and online resources available 24/7, on or off campus, means you have access when you need it. All the opportunities provided in the Learning Centres are supported by experienced, friendly staff ready to help you achieve your goals.
