The biomedical and science professions will always offer fascinating and rewarding work at the cutting edge of discovery. At Rotherham College of Arts & Technology you can choose to follow a medical or forensic route.
But if you’re interested in the wellbeing of others, a career in care or the health professions could be for you. Our Trainee Health Professionals programme is run in partnership with Rotherham Hospitals NHS Trust, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, and Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
For those returning to study or who have never studied at higher-education level, our Access to HE Diploma (Science) offers a progression to vocational courses at university, such as nursing, radiography, physiotherapy or science.
Many of our students progress into employment within social care, the health professions and the sciences - as radiographers, physiotherapists and nurses, for example. Other students go on to further study.
