Do you enjoy working with your hands and using your intellect to solve practical problems? Studying at Rotherham College of Arts & Technology will equip you with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge you need for a successful career in engineering or manufacturing.
We offer courses in electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering (including fabrication and welding) as well as in manufacturing. The qualifications we offer are nationally recognised and well-regarded by employers, and our excellent links with industry will help to ensure that you meet the high standards demanded by the sector.
Our courses take place in workshops, where you’ll develop your skills and familiarity with professional equipment as you undertake realistic projects. And if you’re interested in motor vehicle engineering, our custom-built motor-vehicle workshops include diagnostic equipment as well as the necessary tools for maintenance and repair.
Our students go on to work in a variety of roles, and many return to gain higher-level technical skills to further develop their careers at management and technical levels.
