Working in the Children’s Care and Development sector is fun, challenging and rewarding. We offer a range of nationally recognised qualifications at various levels to suit both school leavers and adults. Our programmes offer an ideal combination of both theoretical studies and practical work placements within a wide range of settings.
The courses meet the needs of both the sector and employers whilst also providing progression pathways into further studies and training.
Alongside programmes of study we offer the opportunity to achieve additional qualifications such as paediatric first aid, creative arts, English, maths and IT qualifications to enhance employment and progression opportunities.
Our excellent work placement opportunities provide first-hand experience of working with children and teams of professionals in a variety of settings. Placement experience allows application of theory to practice while gaining an insight into how children learn and develop.
Experience of planning and the implementing of activities and routines for children to support and extend their learning is an integral part of all programmes.
We have excellent links and partnerships with Early Years and Childcare settings and a highly qualified and experienced staff team to help you to reach your career goals.
A high percentage of our students progress into employment, continue their studies or progress into Higher Education to undertake relevant degrees or training.
