Wentworth Building Opening

In March 2012 we were proud to welcome HRH The Duke of York to take part in the official opening of the Wentworth Building. The Duke of York helped us celebrate by spending the morning with us, touring the building and meeting some of our students.

Students in Games Animation, Theatrical Make-up and Plumbing met The Duke of York and showed him some of their work and discussed their futures. He also met the Chair of the College’s Board, Ken Barrass, staff members who were heavily involved in the development of the Wentworth Building and some of the College’s longest serving members of staff.‪

To leave a lasting legacy of his visit, The Duke of York unveiled a plaque to mark the occasion which will be displayed in the reception area of the Wentworth Building.
