Events to celebrate Apprenticeship Week

Monday 6 February

To celebrate Apprenticeship Week 6-10 February 2012, we are hosting an innovative engineering event to encourage and support youngsters looking to make an apprenticeship their way forward to a career.
A MANTRA lorry (MANufacturing TRANsporter) loaded with specialist engineering demonstrations will be open to a selection of schools with an interest in the engineering and manufacturing sector.
The MANTRA lorry is a customised 14 HGV trailer, designed to give aspiring young engineers a hands-on experience with real cutting-edge technologies.
The youngsters will then have the opportunity to speak to some of the local business leaders in the world of engineering and manufacturing.
